Common questions

Can you sleep in a compact cargo van?+

Yes. Both vans have about 86 to 88 inches of floor behind the front seats, which fits a 75-inch mattress lengthwise. The cargo area is about 50 to 52 inches tall.

How much space do insulation and paneling take?+

The finished figures on this page allow about 1 inch per surface: each side wall, the ceiling, the floor, and the front wall. The rear is the door. A cold-climate build with thicker insulation takes more. In the planner you can choose the build-out level, or enter your own measurements.
