Common questions

Can you fit a bed across a ProMaster?+

Many builders do. The cargo area is 75.6 inches wide at its widest point, and the walls are close to vertical. Check the width at your planned bed height after insulation and paneling, and compare it with your mattress length.

How wide is a ProMaster between the wheel wells?+

About 55.8 inches. Each rear wheel well takes about 9.9 inches of the cargo width.

How much space do insulation and paneling take?+

The finished figures on this page allow about 1 inch per surface: each side wall, the ceiling, the floor, and the front wall. The rear is the door. A cold-climate build with thicker insulation takes more. In the planner you can choose the build-out level, or enter your own measurements.
