Common questions

How wide is the aisle between a step van’s wheel boxes?+

About 41 inches. The rear wheel boxes take about 26 inches each from the 93-inch body width.

What is the difference between a P700 and a P1000?+

Length. FedEx uses the names for the 14 ft and 18 ft bodies. Width and height are about the same.

How much space do insulation and paneling take?+

The finished figures on this page allow about 1 inch per surface: each side wall, the ceiling, the floor, and the front wall. The rear is the door. A cold-climate build with thicker insulation takes more. In the planner you can choose the build-out level, or enter your own measurements.
